Through talking with thousands of men, I know for a fact that both emotional and physical fulfillment are equally important. Many men unfortunately get a bad rap for being shallow but it's simply not true. In fact men look for many of the similar attributes we ladies are attracted to. Recently I attended a course through PAX Programs where we did even more research on the top traits that men look for in a woman and here are our findings: Physically Attractive - Men are visual beings. This is not new to you. Men are initially attracted to the way a woman looks. This does not mean men only like bikini models and size zeros. Men love women who look after themselves and make an effort in their appearance. Every man has his preferences so celebrate what you have and attract a man who sees you as his type, exactly the way you are. This is great news – no adjusting involved, just a celebration of self.
Self-Confidence – A woman who is confident is irresistible. She fills her life with activities that make her feel good about herself but still leaves room for a man to feel needed in her presence. Men like women who are active and independent, who have friends and interests of their own but are conscious about the fine line of being too independent. Self-Confidence is about knowing who you are and being your true self.
Authenticity – "She is real" is a comment men will make about women when they are attracted to her. She is a woman who has the courage to be herself and is not afraid to communicate honestly. Being real means not being superficial – be who you are, not who you think they want you to be or who they would be attracted to. Speak up and don't be afraid to share your thoughts and feelings.
Passion – Men are attracted to a woman who knows what she is passionate about and expresses it. Passion ignites fire, and women who have that inner spark and can light up a room talking about her interests and this can really turn a man on. This passion does not need to be driven by career; in fact it can be anything, a passion for health and fitness, cooking, sports, etc.
Really, at the end of the day men want a lot of the same things women do: confidence and a woman that makes them feel good about themselves.
